Will You Marry Me?

Last night was a normal Friday night for Phil and I.

We were watching some TV, playing Rummy, and were about to eat some delicious chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter icing that we made together a few days before (they are SO good btw).

Phil went to the kitchen to get me a cupcake and I was actually watching some 'Say Yes to the Dress' before Phil got back to the couch since he would want to change the channel.

Phil came back, got down on one knee with the whole platter of cupcakes that also had a box that held the more gorgeous ring inside.

He then said a few sentimental lines that I don't particularly remember (due to questioning if this was real life or not in my head) but it ended with asking, "Will you marry me?"  I replied with "Of course!!!"

It was perfect and totally 'us.'

The Ring

I'm totally in love with my ring. It is exactly what I would want and fits perfectly since my sneaky man already got it fitted.

We started making phone calls last night to close friends and family. I posted the news on Facebook today and am completely overwhelmed with the support of our friends and family. I feel so, so blessed to have all of these wonderful people in my life and of course Phil.
